Tweet In less than two weeks, the hustle and bustle of the new school season will start. Back to school is a big deal but this year it’s even bigger for us. My youngest starts kindergarten and will be in school a full day. It’s so bitter sweet. While I’m excited for him (and I know he is ready), I’m a bit sad. My baby is growing up and now the house will be empty during the day. I know the first few days of school can be exciting but a bit overwhelming at the same time. That’s why I love leaving little notes in my boys’ lunches just to say “I love you and I’m thinking about you”. I mean, I’m not sure how […]

National Geographic Kids Almanac 2015 {Win!} #NGKInsider

August 13, 2014
Reading Create & Learn

Tweet I’ve always been fascinated with science and biology, except for the dissecting part….that just wasn’t for me. But I think my oldest is following in my footsteps. He is always asking me questions about Earth (he’s a bit partial since he was born on Earth day), the planets, and animals. Just the other day while we were in Target, he had me buy him a chart of our solar system and a map of the world so he could learn about the different places. I’m not one to say no when it comes to something educational. So as you can imagine, he was thrilled to check out the National Geographic Kids Almanac 2015. This book is geared for kids 8-12 years old. The pages […]

Chevrolet Malibu Review and Video #PHIDistrict

Chevrolet Malibu Review Products & Gear

Tweet It’s been a busy summer so far. We’ve done a ton of traveling….Virginia visiting family, Jamaica for a much needed vacation, New York to see friends, and most recently Hersheypark for the weekend. I shared some of the fun we had at Hersheypark plus tips for navigating the park with the family. As you know, when traveling with kids you need pretty much everything but the kitchen sink! We had the chance to test out a Chevrolet Malibu for the week and we took it with us on our road trip to Hershey, PA. Now I’ll admit, I was a little hesitate about the Malibu. I thought it was going to be a bit small for my family but I have to say that […]
