Why the Nokia Lumia Icon is the Perfect Phone for Family Travel #VZWBuzz

March 31, 2014
Tips For Getting Your Phone Ready For Family Travel Products & Gear

Tweet Now that my boys are getting a bit older, it’s getting easier to travel with them. We have a few exciting trips coming up and I’m already planning for what we need and what we can do without. We have a nice Canon camera but lately we’ve decided to leave it at home. I like to be hands free when I’m traveling with the family because I usually end up being the dumping ground for everyone. That’s why my smartphone is so important. I use it for everything and it really becomes my sidekick when traveling. I use it to take notes, as a map, to snap photos, and shoot videos of my kids. I recently had the opportunity to check out the Nokia […]

Boy Mom Spotilght Meet Jeanette Boys

Tweet Happy Friday! I’d like to introduce you to this week’s boy mom, Jeanette, and her son, Caleb!   Age.  Caleb, 12/04 Describe your son. He is the most laid back kid you’ll ever meet. You could say, “Come on, Caleb, I am going bra shopping all day and you need to come with me.” He’d go and never complain. He never gets angry, annoyed or distressed about anything. For me, he is the ultimate cool kid. Kind to all others. Never judges and even goes out of his way to befriend the other kids who may be a little “different”. How do you stay calm when surrounded by ALL that energy? If anything, he helps me have more energy! How do you instill gentlemanly […]

Chasing Fireflies Outfits for Boys Boys

Tweet One of my favorite catalogs to browse through is Chasing Fireflies. I love the quality of their products not to mention the adorable selection they have. It’s full of personalized goodies for the kids plus lots of fun ways to celebrate the different seasons. This year, my boys wore Chasing Fireflies Halloween costumes – Iron Man Patriot and Superman – and they still wear them around the house as they fly from room to room. I even surprised my family with matching holiday pj’s for Christmas that they all got a kick out of. Now it’s time to start planning for Easter….can you believe it?! I’m usually last minute in picking out my boys’ outfits and about a week before I race from store […]

Boy Mom Spotlight Meet Vandy Boys

Tweet I’d like to introduce you to this week’s boy mom, Vandy, from The Testosterone Three and Me (another boy mom blog) and mom of two boys! I love that Vandy and her family have some quirky traditions — a bedtime saying, snow dance, New Years, etc. — that’s what creates so many fun memories for our children. She shares some of these traditions in her “something special” section below. Check them out! Ages. Turbo (5/03) and Bruiser (1/09)  Describe your sons. Turbo is a bundle of energy, always moving or fighting. He loves Legos and video games. He is goofy and affectionate, which I better enjoy while it lasts. Bruiser is very smart and stubborn. Being the baby of the bunch, he is always playing […]
