Create this Monster Cup craft to have lots of messy fun with your kids. I have partnered with Wet Ones Hand Wipes to bring you this fun fall craft idea.
Our fall schedule is pretty crazy. When we have a weekend with no sports or activities (which is very rare), it’s like a special treat. There’s so much you can do on fall weekends – apple picking, hayrides, carving pumpkins…the list goes on and on.
Last weekend, we had a free Sunday (yay!) and decided to stay home. My boys asked to do a craft, so we decided to make cute monster cups with paint. It’s a really easy craft to do. I love that my boys had a chance to get creative and come up with funny looking monsters.
Sure, this craft was a messy one. But you know what? That’s half the fun!
Supplies you will need:
- Plastic cups
- Paint brushes
- Pipe cleaners
- Wiggle eyes
- Glue (if your wiggle eyes aren’t stickers)
- Wet Ones hand wipes (believe me you’ll need these after this craft)
Step #1: Set out paint and let them go crazy painting their cups.
Step #2: If they are young, you can help them use the black paint to create a mouth and any additional features you want.
Step #3: Once the cups dry, stick on the wiggle eyes.
Step #4: You can either glue pipe cleaners to create legs and arms or just set under your monster cup.
Be prepared for messy kids. Did you know that 91% of moms don’t let their kids participate in an activity because it’s messy? I was shocked to hear this! I’ve learned through the years that a little mess is not something to worry about. Kids are cleanable and creating messy moments is part of childhood.
That’s where Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes come in handy. I gave my boys each a wipe and within seconds their hands were paint free.
I keep them in my car, stash some in my bag, and they are all over the house. They are especially perfect for when we are on-the-go. I can give my boys a Wet Ones wipe and it will actually clean better than a hand sanitizer gel, wiping away dirt and mess quickly. My boys both have dry skin in the winter and the wipes have never given them any problems.
Wet Ones Hand Wipes are available at mass, drug and grocery stores nationwide and come in three convenient sizes so you can keep them at home, in the car, and in purses and backpacks. For more information, visit www.WetOnes.com.
