Today is the 100th day of school but unfortunately school was closed due to snow. Boo! But that just means they’ll get to celebrate tomorrow. I can’t believe my baby boy is almost half way through Kindergarten. Time is really flying by!
For the 100th day of school, the kids are to wear 100 of something on a t-shirt. They are going to have a fashion show where they get to show off their t-shirt designs. When my oldest was in Kindergarten, we stuck 100 googly eyes on a shirt, but for my youngest I wanted to try something different.
I purchased 100 band-aids in various neon colors. Then on the t-shirt I wrote, “I Survived 100 Days of School” and we stuck the band-aids all over the back and front. This was super easy and the kids had fun with it. My son said his shirt looked awesome, which for him to say that….it means it looks pretty cool.
I’m trying to convince him to put a few band-aids on his face and pants, but he’s not sold on this idea. I can’t wait to hear about his day tomorrow!
Do your kids celebrate the 100th day of school?
