The Best Summer Shoes for Boys

by Tina @ Life Without Pink on April 23, 2014

Now that my boys are getting older, they play really hard. That’s why I look for summer shoes that not only allow their feet to breathe but also help give them the support they need while they run, jump, and climb.

I have found a few awesome summer shoes for boys that are around $50. Yes, I know sometimes it can be crazy to spend a lot on shoes for kids but I have found that with cheaper shoes my boys really complain their legs hurt after an active day outside. So, for me, it’s important to buy them at least one good pair of summer shoes and I try to look for a shoe that is also waterproof (so they can use around the pool or beach).

The Best Summer Shoes for Boys

1. Crocs Kids Yukon Clog - $39.99

2. Teva Dozer 3 Sandal - $50

3. Keen Newport H2 Sandals – $50

4. Stride Rite Captain America Shandal – $49

5. Pediped Flex Rio Water Shoe - $49.95

What’s your favorite summer shoes for boys?

What ever I can get the boys to wear. I like the sandals, but my boys like flip flops or crocs. I try to get them water shoes of some sort for lake trips and camping. Crocs are a must because they go on quickly.

I actually love the “fake crocs” from the Children’s Place. I normally buy 2 pair each in early February when they go on sale, because if you wait more a week or so, they sell out.

While they only last a summer (or half in the case of my house, which is why I end up buying 2 pairs for each boy from the get to) they get the job done.

This year I’ll also be buying new sneakers right before Camp starts, this has given me some great idea choices.
