I haven’t shopped for myself in awhile but sometimes I get the itch to just go out and spend some money on myself….a little retail therapy always makes a girl feel better.
Before heading out this past weekend, I found this cute orange top in the back of my closet that still had the tags on it. I paired it with leggings, a light brown sweater, and Steve Madden wedges I’ve had for few years (love reusing what I already have). When the weather breaks, this outfit would look super cute with a pair of brown boots.
My sister has been telling me about this awesome store called Charming Charlie, so we decided to head there. This was my first time at the store and she warned me I’d be slightly overwhelmed….um she was right!
I first feel the need to say this is NOT a sponsored post. No one paid me to go shopping (even though that would be nice). I just fell in love with this store and thought I’d share some of my favorite finds and trends I saw while shopping.
When I walked in I swear my eyes lit up and my heart started fluttering….it’s like a candy store for women! I wasn’t sure where to start and I knew that I’d have a hard time narrowing down what I wanted to buy.
This was my view when I walked in:
What I LOVE about Charming Charlie (other than the adorable name) is that the store is laid out by color. They have everything from accessories, hand bags, jewelry, clothes, and shoes. If you are shopping for something specific (yellow necklace), you know right where to go. They make it super easy for you, which helps since the store is pretty big.
The best part…the items are very reasonable! The jewelry is around $13, tops anywhere from $10 to $30 (I scored a pretty pink top for only $9.99), and hand bags under $30.
My favorite color this year is BLUE!
I’m also loving pink because even though I have all boys I still love girly colors!
Some of my favorite finds at Charming Charlie:
- Pink top with lace: $9.99
- Maroon sweater w/lace on back: $30
- Blue tee with rhinestone pocket: $18
- Black watch w/sparkles: $18
- Two necklaces w/earrings: $13 each
- Gold and brown braclet set: $10
- Mini gold wallet (perfect for money & license): $8
When was the last time you went shopping for yourself? What trends are you loving for Fall?
