Do You Get A Shower Every Morning? #PGTryIt

Like most households, my mornings are Crazy with a capital “C”!

It feels like a never ending marathon and I’m just trying to make it to the finish line completely out of breath and on most days totally disheveled.

Can you relate?

Here’s how most mornings go for me:

6:30am – I wake up, grab a cup of coffee and check email

7:00am – Boys wake up and I cuddle with them on the couch before our busy day starts (my favorite part of the day)

7:15am – We eat breakfast and I make lunches

7:20am – Boys get dressed and brush their teeth

7:25am – I go through their book bags to make sure everything is there

7:30am – Quiz my oldest on either math or his spelling words (depending on what test he has)

7:40am – Tell the boys to put their shoes on

7:43am: Tell the boys again to put their shoes on

7:50am – Start the car – I have a long driveway and it’s too cold to stand outside, so yes we sit in the car – brr it’s chilly!

7:52am – Yell at the boys to put their shoes on

7:55am – Boys FINALLY put their shoes on, coats and hats

8:00am – Out the door for the bus

8:30am – Drop off my youngest at school (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

8:45am – Either go to the gym or head home to work

On the days I don’t go to the gym, I’ve been trying to sneak in a shower. I’ll either wake up at 6:15am before the boys are up to get one OR I’ll get a shower once my oldest is on the bus.

When I can manage a shower, I feel more like a human being and for some reason I seem to have a better day. Coincidence? I think so!
