Every year for my boys’ birthday, I make a photo album for them.
I cram in as many photos from the year that I can and add little notes throughout the book.
It’s their special little present from me and I love to reflect over the year on how much they have grown and the memories we have made together.
I’ll often catch my boys looking through their books giggling at the silly things they did.
It’s my job as their mom to keep these precious memories alive. I have so many photos on my hard drive and I always think, if I don’t do anything with them no one will ever see them. They’ll live in the computer forever!
There is something so special about being able to physically flip through photos, then looking at them through a computer screen.
And I always make photo albums and calendars for holiday presents. My in-laws live far away, so they don’t get to see the boys that often.
Every year I make them a “year in review” album. It’s a great way for them to see everything the boys are doing and to become part of their memories.
I use Snapfish because it’s simple, fast and most importantly good quality.

I used to scrapbook all the time, but I have no desire to do it anymore. Photo books are a great replacement!
