Big News! I'm a Finalist for P&G's the Great Try Out Contest #pgtryitGTO

About a month ago, it was like any other ordinary night.

Kids were in bed and I was working trying to get as much done as I could before I called it a night.

Then around 10pm an email came in that made my mouth fall open.

I sat there in shock as I re-read the email a few times, “You are a finalist for P&G’s the Great Try Out Contest to become part of their Have You Tried This Yet? Trend Trio.”

My heart started racing and I thought, “Me?”

The next few days were like a whirlwind.

I had my sister come over to take a semi-professional photo of me (one where I actually did my hair and make-up), I had my hubby follow me around the house video taping my family tips and I wrote a short-bio about myself.

I sent it in, said a few prayers and crossed my fingers.

Today is the day it all goes live and I have to admit I’m slightly freaking out!

So where do you, my lovely readers, come in?

I need your vote!!!

There are four ladies in three different categories; family (my category), home and beauty.

Voting counts as 40% of the overall score {I know a voting contest}.

Contest start date is (today) Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 and ends on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 (5:00 PM EST).

Once a day you can vote for your favorite “expert” by visiting the P&G Everyday Facebook page.

Find {my} photo under the “family category” and click vote.

The women that are selected for the Trend Trio will dish out over the next eight months their insider secrets, tips and product advice to help you cut through the clutter, and ease the daily grind.

I would love the opportunity to share with you ways I try to simplify my life, keep organized and most importantly have fun with the family.

But more than anything, I truly feel honored just to be nominated for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
