Wordless Wednesday: I Ate Over 1,000 Calories and Don’t Feel Guilty

by Life Without Pink on September 12, 2012

It’s been a whirlwind the last two weeks.

I’m still getting adjusted to two school schedules, two different soccer schedules, homework, working full-time, trying to fit in work-outs, keeping up with meal planning and doing the dreaded housework.

Last week after my oldest got home from his first day of school (you might remember this photo);

…we took him out to dinner to celebrate.

I ended the meal with this;

If you are curious, that’s peanut butter flavored yogurt, peanut butter sauce and snickers toppings.

Think I have a thing for peanut butter?

Then this week my youngest started pre-school. This was his VERY first time in school and he did great!

Of course we took him out to celebrate and we all ate this;

I’m not good with figuring out how many calories are in each, but I’m assuming it’s a lot!

And guess what?

I didn’t feel guilty at all!

I think we all deserve to indulge a bit after the first week of school.

Don’t you?

mmm…. I love peanut butter too! And you’re 100% right… it’s okay to indulge once in a while. We’re at the end of the 2nd week of school and it’s great! We did ice cream sundae’s for dinner before school started… total indulgence!
