A Star Wars Conversation

by Life Without Pink on August 29, 2012

The other day we were driving in the car and this is the conversation I heard in the backseat:

6 year-old: When I grow up, I want to be a Jedi.

3 year-old: Me too! I’m going to be Qui-Gon Jinn.

6 year-old: No, you don’t want to be him. Darth Maul dies him. I’m going to be Obi Wan Kenobi.

3 year-old: Oh yeah that’s right.

6 year-old: How about I get him before he dies you?

3 year-old: Ok, because I don’t want to die.

6 year-old: I’ll use my light saber on him, don’t worry.

3 year-old: Thank you. You are the best brother ever!

Looks like they have it all figured out.

I’m pretty sure my kids have had a similar conversation. Only, they called it a light SAVER. (Verified by asking them to spell the word.) That lead to a whole argument where mommy couldn’t possibly be right about it being a light saBer. Their logic? Girls can’t know anything about star wars.

I love that your boys are working together as a team. Love to hear brother love in action.

How cute “light SAVER”…even though my boys fight (what siblings don’t?), they seem to really protect each other. I hope that stays!

I always feel so happy when I get to eavesdrop on what they say.

So lucky and so happy.
