Surprising Mom

My mom is my best friend. We talk every day and only live ten minutes from each other.

Now that I’m a mom, I realize all of the sacrifices my mother has made for me.

Even now as an adult, she still helps me and would drop anything if I needed her.

She is the foundation of our family and I only hope that I follow in her footsteps.

This past weekend, my family and I gave my mom a surprise 60th birthday party.

She’s always the one planning the parties, making the food and organizing the day.

I was determined to do this for her as a “thank you” for always being there for everyone else.

My entire family chipped in to make this happen.

Family and friends from all over came to help celebrate her special day.

When she arrived, you knew she was completely caught off guard.

She broke down crying in happiness.

It’s absolutely priceless to see your mother cry because she is overcome with joy.

Nothing makes me happier than being able to give back to my mom, to show her we appreciate everything she has done for us.

I love you mom!
