The last few months, I’ve been dealing with an issue.
To most it would seem like no big deal, however if you have gone through this experience it is.
I have well water and it has really damaged my hair to the point where I couldn’t wear it down.
It left my hair feeling dull, oily, gooey and my hair was even starting to break.
It’s one thing to have a bad hair day, it’s another to have a few months of really bad hair and there is nothing you can do about it.
You may have noticed that in some of my past vlogs, I wore my hair in a ponytail with a headband.
I was trying to hide my hair.
I started getting really depressed about it, so I knew I had to do something about it. I tried everything from real expensive clarifying shampoos to really cheap ones – nothing worked.
When I asked my family and friends, no one had this problem. I felt so alone and helpless.
I started doing some research and finally found a company, Malibu Wellness, who had a product designed specifically for hard water.
I contacted them to see if they could help me.
It was really my last hope.
I was completely blow away by their service. They chatted with me for over a half hour to explain what is happening to my hair, how their products are designed and how they can help me.
I’m not brave enough to show you how to use the product in the shower, but if you are curious I found a video that shows you how to use it {NOTE: there is NO nudity I swear}:
Malibu Wellness explained to me that the minerals in the water such as calcium, iron, magnesium, copper; are like a magnet and stick to your hair.
Every time you wash your hair, it keeps building and building and eventually gives your hair that rock feeling.
Here’s how the Hard Water Wellness Kit protects your hair:
- Draws out even hard-to-budge well water mineral deposits with a crystallized vitamin C natural wellness treatment
- Wisks away discoloration and brassiness caused by iron or copper
- Unclogs calcium from the hair follicle to prevent dry, flaky scalp issues
- Ensures successful processing of chemical services like color, highlights, perms and relaxers
- Instantly rejuvenates the health, texture and appearance of your hair
- Prevents future deposits while infusing moisture, shine and manageability with a targeted water wellness kit containing a daily shampoo and conditioner along with weekly demineralizing treatments
Another cool fact that I love about their product line – it’s 100% vegan – you can literally eat their product without being harmed {but I don’t recommend you trying this}.
They have a lot of different lines to help with any type of hair or problem you may be having. Just to name a few:
- Swimmers
- Color
- Scalp
- Blondes
- Un-do-goos
I’m not the only one that loves their products. Check out some of their testimonials at the bottom of the page.

That would be tough..I CHOOSE to wear my hair up alot because it is easier since my hair is a mile long…but it would easily depress me if I didn’t have the choice and my hair was breaking/looking dull etc.
So glad you found an amazing product!

Sounds interesting! I may have to look into it more and give it a try! We have hard water too, but I’ve always just assumed that my hair is the way it is because it’s so thick, course, and wavy.

We have well water! We do have a water softener so I don’t know if it makes a difference but, I would love to {one day} try these products! My hair can use all the help it can get!

You know, my parents have a well and I’ve always wondered why my hair never seemed to style the way it usually does after I stay with them. Thanks so much for sending this to me; I will be sure to forward to my ‘rents!
