Mustache and Lip Lollipop Tutorial

by Life Without Pink on February 13, 2012

This year since I’m a room mom for my son’s class, I wanted to do something a bit different for Valentine’s Day.

I love watching the kids get super excited when they receive a fun treat. I especially love making them with my 5 year-old and seeing how excited he is to hand them out.

On my search for finding a craft I could do for my son’s Valentine’s Day party, I came across the perfect one!

I decided to try the mustache and lip lollipop craft.

My son freaked when he saw this and I know the kids in his class will love it too.

What you need:

  • Scissors
  • Black or brown and red craft foam
  • Marker or pen
  • Wrapped lollipops
  • White labels {optional}

Directions:

1. Print out the mustache and lip template. I used this one.

2. Trace the mustache onto the black or brown foam and the lips onto the red foam and cut out. I was able to fit about 10 templates on each piece of foam.

3. Slide the lollipop through the foam to make a small hole.

4. Add label {optional}.

That’s it!

This is a great craft for any occasion and great birthday favors.

Thanks for sharing. I’ll also try this with my 3 year old son.

So cute! Lollipops are the one treat that my kids aren’t allergic to! We’ll have to do this for Valentine’s Day at their school. :) Thanks for the tutorial, Tina!

I love this and my girls would totally love this too! I’m going to be making this today for them and surprise them when they get home from school. They had midterms and I think having juicy lips and a mustache would be awesome! Thank you!
