“Oh nuts!”, my 4 yr old said the other day when he dropped his toy.
“Where did you hear that?” I was trying to keep from laughing while barely maintaining my straight face.
“I heard it on TV.”
…really. I was trying to think what he has watched recently and it has mostly been his disney movies or Dora the Explorer.
Then I heard it. I was folding laundry while he was watching his favorite movie, Toy Story 2. I was half in a coffee coma when I heard Mr. Hamm say, “Oh nuts!”
My son let out a roaring laugh and kept repeating himself, “Oh nuts, oh nuts, oh nuts!”
Really now we have to sensor Disney movies?
I guess that is not the worst thing he could say but still not appropriate from a 4 yr old especially when he turns, “oh nuts” into “I’m going to kick you in the nuts”!
Fantastic I have that kid!

Kids (especially little boys) always seem to take it a step too far, don’t they? I remember my little brothers (eons ago, of course) doing the same sort of thing.
CCWA hellos!

Hi, I’m Krista’s BFF… I poke about people that follow her…
This post made me think of two things, my niece who started saying ‘oh for Christ’s sake’ at the age of three… we had made a game of it to get her into saying ‘oh for Pete’s Sake’… then asking her who Pete was to make her giggle… it worked!
and the Fantastic Mr Fox who says ‘What the Cuss, Mother Cusser, Cuss out of luck’…
bwahaha! I have that kid too!! My 2 year old says, “what the hell!” Not good.
